I do smell the anise intermittently briefly, but I did not mind it as the fruity scent was spot on and the anise enhanced as it was not present all the time.

Smells just like a jar of jelly beans!

I love this scent! It's sweet and mildly tart fruit candy with a bit more emphasis on cherry and lime. Strength/throw is good at a 6.5-7 without a hurricane. I'm glad I picked up a few of these. I will be enjoying them all spring.

Licorice and fruity delight

This candle combines licorice scent with fruity scents. I quickly grew to love this scent, it was my favorite of the Easter collection. It is an interesting scent, since my sister does not pick up the licorice when she burns hers, and yet that is the primary note that I smell when I burn mine. I would advice caution if you do not like a sweet licorice scent, but I loved the complex scent. I hope this becomes a staple in the spring/Easter lineup.
