French Lavender 3-wick

Not the strongest of Kringle’s offerings - not herbal lavender, it’s more delicate and soft

I think I read somewhere that lavender scents in general don’t have a high throw proportional to their strength. Maybe that’s true, maybe not. But.. when it comes to this candle, it is in fact the case. This is not a piercing, super herbal lavender (which I happen to love), it’s more of a delicate, buttery-soft lavender. While the scent is distinct on cold sniff, I feel that when lit, it does not fill a room with the distinct aroma of lavender that I’d hoped it would. You really have to get close to this candle to smell it. Perhaps it would be a good bathroom candle, but for spaces larger than that, I don’t think the scent itself is punchy and powerful enough to be detectable. For those who love powerhouse candles that yell rather than whisper softly, this may disappoint you. Kringle’s French Lavender — even in a large-pool 3 wick — is a whisperer, and a very quiet one even at that.
