Unusual

I wasn’t really sure what to expect with this one… out of the jar it’s a little bit different than I expected. I’m not saying it’s bad by any means but interested to put a flame to it.

Sweet Romance in a Jar

What a soft, sweet fragrance! I was curious to see how caramel/sugar, florals, amber, and wood were going to mix together to evoke Paris, France, but let me tell you, this is a beautiful scent! It truly is romantic. I’m not overly huge on floral scents, so I was pleasantly surprised by this candle because everything blends so nicely. I would have never guessed jasmine, oak moss, or crimson blooms were present because this scent is a delicate scent that’s tastefully done. I love woody scent notes, so the musk and sandalwood helps balance everything out, so that it’s not too sweet, not too floral, and not too musky/woody. The throw is 6.5/7 out of 10 which is just right. You wouldn’t want this fragrance to be too strong because when I think of romantic springtime in Paris, I think something light, sweet yet warm at the same time. And this candle is it. The label is as stunning as the fragrance itself. Highly recommend!

Mon Amour

I was so excited to receive this candle, but I am disappointed to say it was a little light for my taste. It is done very well, don't get me wrong. It is just a bit on the lighter side for my open concept living room where I do most of my candle burning. This would be amazing in a larger, four-wick format. The packaging is so beautiful and the soy formula gives a flawless burn.
