Maybe I Got A Dud

On cold sniff, I thought that the candle smelled like tomato. My husband thought that it smelled like strawberry. I could not smell mint or any of the other scent notes. The candle pooled out very quickly. The wicks turned black and were moving in a scary and erratic way. The flames were splitting down the middle of the wicks. I had not seen a candle do that. I extinguished the candle after a mere 15 minutes of burning. The flames were freaking me out. It was a shame because the strength and throw of this candle seemed to be pretty good. When burning, I still thought that it smelled like tomato!
